On his social media, the Irish top rider, Cian O'Connor, announced that he has secured two of his potential Olympic contenders through the partnership with Keysoe International. O'Connor is confident about a future with Maurice (Thunder vd Zuuthoeve) and the 10-year-old Fermoy (Chacco's Son).
"There were several interested parties in the two horses. With Maurice, I secured a podium placement in the CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix, and Fermoy delivered a fourth-place finish in the national Grand Prix. It was difficult to turn down all the offers. I am therefore extremely pleased that my friend and client, Sarah Stoute of Keysoe International, has decided to invest in these two horses. This is with a view to the upcoming Olympic Games.
Alongside the Magnier Family, Pat Crean, and Nikki Walker, O'Connor now has support from a fourth party. "The success we are currently achieving in Florida, both personally and with students, has consequences. However, I am thrilled to have the support of Keysoe International.
O'Connor will also mentor Keira herself in her sporting career."
