In Sentower Park, the Youngster finales were scheduled for this afternoon. The first class was the prize 'Ashford Farm'. This class was a class for 5- and 6-year old horses. 76 combinations battled it out and eventually a jump-off had to decide about the winner. In that jump-off it was the Belgian rider Ugo Berritella who rode the fastest time. With Full House ter Linden Z (f. Forever d'Arco der Linden) under the saddle, he jumped a clear jump-off in 35,11 seconds. The second place went to the Irish rider Ciaran Dreeling. He counted on Luettingshofs Charlie Harper (f. Comme Il Faut) to jump a clear round in 35,65 seconds. Benedikte Serigstad Endresen completed the podium. She and her 6-year old Katrinelund Cabalight (f. Cabachon) crossed the finish line after 36,07 seconds. Mike Van Olst (Cooper I Z) and Taizo Sugitani (Koblenz-W van'T Merelsnest) ended on fourth and fifth place. In the finale for 7-year old horses it was Diego Perez Bilbao who took the victory. With Julysse (f. Epleaser van't Heike) under the saddle, he jumped a clear jump-off in 39,24 seconds. With this time he was only a bit faster than Michael Duffy who finished in 39,66 seconds with his mare Taormina. Angelika Augustsson-Zanotelli ended on third place with Tout de Clairbous (f. Ugano Sitte). Charlotte Spaas Levallois (Lady Lyn vd Neyen Z) and Ruben Romp (Evita) ended on fourth and fifth place. Click here for the results
