Delestre wins thrilling jump-off in Antwerp

The Global Champions Tour of Antwerp reached his highlight for tonight, a 5-star class with fences up to 1.50-1.55 m. A jump-off with 10 combinations had to decide who was the winner.  Simon Delestre won with Qlassic Bois Margot. He rode a clear jump-off in 38.37 seconds. With this victory, he also became the owner of a brand new BMW X3. Last year, this combination already won the Grand Prix. The leading lady rider of France, Pénélope Leprevost finished second with Vagabond de la Pomme. With 38,39 they were just a little bit slower than the winning combination. Bertram Allen and Romanov completed the top 3. They finished clear in 38.39 seconds. Best Belgian rider was Niels Bruynseels. He and Gancia de Muze crossed the finish line in 38.52 seconds. Fifth place was for Janika Sprunger and Uptown Boy. Pieter Devos and Espoir were sixth. Click here for the results
