Today the international CSI2* de Peelbergen kicked-off in the Netherlands with a Young Horses class. Notless than 74 combinations took the start in this Mart Van Dijk Boomkwekerij Prix. Eventually one Belgian combination left behind a platoon of Dutch pairs. Rik Hemeryck speeded to victory aboard the 7-year-old Belgian Warmblood-stallion Jule de Lauzelle (Tornedo Fcs x Vigo d'Arsouilles). The pair crossed the finish in 27.14 seconds. Only a small fraction faster as Dutch Maikel van Mierlo and his KWPN-gelding Europe (by Cantos). The latter stopped the timer in 27.57 seconds. Joh Steeghs and Energy (by Douglas) followed in a third place after a clear roun in 27.66 seconds.
