Dutch Championships: Michael Greeve stays in the lead

Michael Greeve is still leading the ranking at the Dutch individual championships. He won the second competition and can start Sunday without faults on the counter. Frank Schuttert went from fifth to second place. Jur Vrieling managed to stay third. "I didn't went to the competition to win the todays class, I just wanted to jump a clear round. Then it turned out I had the fastest time, which for me was very unexpected. More horse Whitney BB is a very fast horse and her galop is very big. Maybe it doesn't look that way, but it is true", says Greeve with a smile on his face. "The competition is very hard here, not many horses touch the wood although the fences were very high, especially the last line. When I walked the course, I had a feeling that it would be possible to stay clear". Last year I went into the final with a second place, but Whitney BB didn't have the power yet she has now. Because of that we got two faults and didn't end on the podium. Now she's stronger so I hope everything will go better tomorrow. Greeve is confident for Sunday. "Sunday we have to jump two courses. I think the first course will be very technical and high. I just want to make my own plan, I want to try to stay clear and I hope to get a good result. It will be exiting".   Results second course, 1.50m against the clock
