The new Longines FEI Ranking List has been published and the world number one has been moved from his throne. The neck to neck race between Simon Delestre and Christian Ahlmann has finally turned out in favor for Christian Ahlmann who is the new world number one. Delestre is the new runner-up. With Ahlmann on top it is promised to be an exciting Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in a couple of days. Delestre's compatriot, Pénélope Leprévost follows him in a third place. Also Kent Farrington moves up one position. Last month the USA rider was placed fifth, this month he finishes in the fourth place. Ward McLain switched his third place for a fifth spot. Great-Britain remains on his sixth place for this month. Brash didn't compete his top horse Hello Sanctos in July, but however took a second place in Aachen's Grand Prix with Ursula XII. The top ten is further completed by Daniel Deusser, Kevin Staut, Marcus Ehning and Eric Lamaze.
