Just ahead of the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix this afternoon in Valkenswaard is is British lady Laura Renwick that shows the competition she is sharply in form today. Atfer a third place in the Youngster finale she proceeded with a win in the 1.50m CSI5* class. In the speed class directly on time it was Renwick and her 9-year-old gelding Heliodor Hybris (v. Diamant De Semilly) as fifth starter who put the time to beat of 63.61 seconds on the clock. With a star studded feeld to come it was most likely that the British lady would lose her position, however she stook strong and watched from the sideline how none could beat the time she set. Belgian rider Nicola Philippaerts however came close when he produced a round of 63.98 seconds aboard his H&M Quenzo de la Roque (v. Kannan), but fell short and finished in second place. Third place went to Conor Swail riding Cita (v. Cassall). Whilst German Daniel Deusser and Emanuele Gaudiano from Italy took the fourth and fifth place. Go here to check all results.
