Only two weeks after their triumph at the CHIO Aachen the German team  (foto) showed again that horses and riders are in top condition. Supported by their national trainer Otto Becker three riders managed to finish the first round without penalty points so that the fourth rider, Ludger Beerbaum did not even have to compete in that round. In the second round both ladies finished clear in time again, Meredith riding Fibonacci and Jeanne-Friederike riding her Belgium horse Goya. Onlz Patrick had one pole down which didn't do any harm to the still best result for the German team. A relaxing day it was for Ludger and his mare Chiara as their team mates managed to win without their help. Team chef Otte Becker was amazed: "We are all so happy, all the compliment to my team and Meredith who really opened up this win for us with her two clear rounds" Second in the ranking were the Irish and the third rank went to Belgium, each team  with eight penalty points. Following on rank four were the teams from the USA and Switzerland.
