In Salzburg, the CSI4* Grand Prix has just been ridden. In the 1,60m class, 37 riders entered the show ring. 11 of them jumped a clear first round and came back for the all-deciding jump-off. In that jump-off it was the Belgian rider Wilm Vermeir who rode the fatest time. He and IQ van het Steentje (f. Toulon) rode a very fast round and finished in 37,81 seconds. He could have won with this time, but one penalty for jumping resulted in a sixth place. The victory went to the Italian rider Gianni Govoni. With the 11-year old Antonio (f. Oklund) under the saddle, he jumped a clear round in 38,52 seconds. With this time he was almost a second faster than the Swiss Annina Züger who ended on second place with Louis (f. Lord Pezi). Jur Vrieling and Corporal VDL (f. Cardento) ended on third place. They left the wood untouched and finished in 41,96 seconds. Mariann Hugyecz (Chacco Blue) and Simone Coata (Cannavaro) ended on respectively fourth and fifth place. Click here for the results
