Gold to Robert Murphy, Amalie Hegre and Irma Karlsson at the European Championships in Arezzo

The Swedish rider Irma Karlsson won the European Championship for Young Riders in Arezzo riding Cornet (Cornet Obolensky x Caletto I). She ended on a total of 5,24 penalties while the silver medalist - Germany's Kaya Lüthi with Pret A Tout (Hiram Chambertin x Stew Boy) - ended on 7,78 penalties. The bronze medal went to Laura Klaphake, also from Germany, riding Nifrane de Kreisker (Carnute x Papillion Rouge).  Click here for the full result list. The gold medal in the junior competition went to the Norwegian rider Amalie Hegre. She rode several fantastic clear rounds on Remedy (Ladiesdream x Centauer Z) which brought her all the way to the top. Second place, and silver medal went to the Belgian rider Gilles Thomas with Conaro (Con Capitol x Quinar) while Jessica Mendoza from Great Britain took the bronze medal together with Spirit T (Tornado x Carnaval Drum). Robert Murphy from Great Britain made clear rounds all the way through the European Championship for Children and could in the end hang the gold medal around his neck. Murphy rode the 11 year old Del Fuego (Murano x Amulet). The silver medal went to Italy and Lorenzo Sciacca with Webster (Numero Uno x Kroongraaf) and the bronze medal to France and Elisa Mellec with Renarde Rumel (Dollar Dela Pierre x Carnute).
