As a true speed master Harry Allen just take the Ponies FEI Jumping Trophy at Jumping Mechelen. In a race against the clock it was the young Irish rider who kept riders from Sweden and the Netherlands at bay. For home nation Belgium, it was Jordi Rombouts took the honors with a top five placement. That Harry has some talent does not come as surprise with brother Betram laying in 21st place on the FEI world rankings. But today it was young Harry who rode 12-year-old went Aughnashammer like a real pro and set the way through the unbeatable time of 52.57 seconds. However Julia Hallberg from Sweden made it pretty exciting with her Dutch Bred Zabrino (v. Perion). But in the final sprint to the finish missed a mere 0:15 seconds to claim victory. Dutch rider Elise the Mheen was in true form too. Along with her pony mare Ensilla (v. Luron KWPN) she clocked 53.86 seconds and grabbed third place in the international pony jumping. Marine Lebas from France and Animo II (v. Export) took fourth place, they followed on less than a half seconds from Van de Mheen. The top five was completed by Jordi Rombouts and her pony gelding Lackagh More Golden Boy. She cleared the course in 54.66 seconds.
