The third day of Jumping Mechelen has just ended. The last class of the evening was the FLANDRIA RENT Six Bars. 13 combinations entered the show ring for this class. For Thomas de Wit and the 9-year old BWP stallion Hidalgo, the adventure ended quickly. They didn't survive the first round. The second round appeared to be too difficult for Daniel Deusser and Sweet Beaufour (Diamant de Semilly x Kannan) and Guido Klatte and Asagan M (Argentinus x Drosseklang II) couldn't keep the fences untouched. Olivier Philippaerts and the 8-year old Idam Fravanca (Quidam de Revem x Querlybet Hero) didn't manage to go through to the fourth round. This BWP gelding was previously ridden by Sam Polleunis, another Belgian rider, but now Philippaerts took over the reigns. Leopold van Asten (VDL Groep C Tara Z) and Koen de Waele (Gentlemen v. Veldhof) didn't pass to the fourth round either. Karel Cox and Max Kühner shared the victory. Cox didn't manage to jump the 2,07m high last fence with Tchao de la Roque (Fergar Mail x Kannan). To Max Kühner and the 16-year old Holsteiner Coeur de Lion 14 happened the same. Douglas Lindelöw (Caville), Emanuele Gaudiano (Corbanus), Mathieu Billot (Ilena S) and Patrik Spits (Verdi v. Withoeve Z) shared the third place. Harrie Smolders and Apollonia 23 (Bøgegaardens Apollo x Bøgegårdens Capello) ended on seventh place. Click here for the results
