In the B-arena in Mechelen, a 1,40m class from the two star competition has just ended. In this class, 53 combinations battled it out against each other and against the clock. In the end it were the Belgian riders who ruled the show in the Prize 'Simon's Horse Shop'. The victory went to Koen Vereecke, with a time of 59,88 seconds, he was a clear winner. With his 11-year old BWP-horse Fetard de la Pomme (Querlybet Hero x Nabab de Reve) he finished in 59,88 seconds. With this time he was much faster than Chloe Vranken who ended on second place with Elton Jones. She and her 12-year old Clinton gelding crossed the finish line after 63,28 seconds, leaving the wood untouched. Kim Thiry and the BWP mare Givale v. Windheuvel (Winningmood vd Arenberg x Kannan) completed the all-Belgian top three. This combination left the wood untouched and finished in 63,92 seconds. Petronella Andersson was the only non-Belgian rider in the top five. She rode Mouse (Lilbus x Grundyman XX) to the fourth place.
