Starting the 1st of January, 2016, the Dutch trainern Henk Nooren will start coaching a group of top Italian show jumpers. Nooren will assist the Chef d'Equipe and train, Piergiorgio Bucci, Emanuele Gaudiano and Lorenzo de Luca. Henk’s assistant will be Emilio Puricelli, while Roberto Arioldo will be the official team manager. Henk Nooren is known as one of world’s best trainers and has had many successes in the past with the Swedish showjumping team, the French team and the Dutch squad. Focusing their sights on the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016 the Federación Hípica Italiana decided to put Henk Nooren in charge of their best riders.
