Home victory for Richard Spooner in Spruce Meadows

Yesterday, Spruce Meadows had two FEI courses scheduled. It was home rider Richard Spooner who took home the victory in the Akita Drilling Cavalry Charge, the American rider stopped the timers in 73,91 seconds aboard his Arthos S (Namelus R). Leaving the Brazilian rider Rodrigo Lambre and Chapilot (Chacco-Blue) 0,2 seconds behind. Daniel Coyle joined them on the podium, he crossed the finishline in 76,60 seconds with Farona (Baltic). Rowan Willis came in fourth aboard Shark (Arko) and Santiago Lambre completed the top five with D'Artagnan (Mr Blue). Click here for the results. In the Friends with the Meadows Cup  the victory was for the Australian Rowan Willis, he stayed double clear with Everse W (Lexicon) and had the fastest time of the three riders to go double clear. Ashlee Bond was runner up with Chela LS (Chapultepec LS) and Jim Ifko completed the top three with Un Diamant des Forets (Diamant de Semilly). Click here for the results.
