The first CSI5* course of the day just came to an end at the Belgian coast, the American riders Jessica Springsteen and Laura Kraut took the lead in this 1.45m heigh cours, Springsteen finished on the first rank aboard her Fleur de l'Aube (Thunder van de Zuuthoeve). They stopped the timers 0,3 seconds faster than Laura Kraut, who completed the course in 33,44 seconds with Sfs Vincomte (Veni Vidi Vici). Christian Ahlmann joined the ladies on the podium, he completed the course in 33,64 seconds abaord Caribis Z (Caritano). Christophe Vanderhasselt finished on the fourth rank for Belgium with Gino van de Vrunte (Jokinal de Bornival) under the saddle and Darragh Kenny completed the top five with Classic Dream (Colestus).
