Last week James Chawke claimed victory in the 1.35m Grand Prix. On Sunday he did it again, this time with his ride Peninsula Jupiter Bling. The Young horse, in ownership of Hayley Patmore, was extremely faster as Katelyn Cooper and her Casino Royale. Jacqueline Colborne and Glenn Deveron rode to the third spot and were followed by Susan Latiff (Tamara) and Carly Kist (Beau Kato). In total 13 horse-rider combinations took the start in this $3,000 Grand Prix. In the $5,000 Junior/Amateur Derby, set at a height of 1.20m the victory was for Nadine Wachter and WH Theo. Last weeks winner, Mariola Slawinski, was not competing in preparation for the RMSJ III. Hayley Boyd and Duvel followed in the runner-up position while Asia Brown and Parana claimed the third place. The top five was completed by Ridgetop Contierra with rider Olivia Goldsmith and Susan Latiff (Le Grand Star). Only 10cm lower it was Natalie Pretty and Nitouche de la Cour who ended first in the Derby. Haily Dick (Luminescence) and Devon Gregory (Pikara) completed the stage.
