Problems with Belgian show jumping selections WEG

Today (Monday) the final selections for the next Alltech FEI World Equestrian games were announced. Belgian teamchef Kurt Gravemeier and Dirk Demeersman revealed their 4 + 1 riders and horses. For belgium is are Belgian Champion Gregory Wathelet, Pieter Devos, Olivier Philippaerts and former World Champion Jos Lansink who will compete. Reserve rider is Jos Verlooy. Young talented GCT-rider, Constant Van Paesschen is second on the list. The number 29 of the world, Constant, has now decided to fight agains this decision. Although he stated in an earlier interview the WEG was not a goal, he thinks the selections are not fair. At this moment the legal arbitration will decide weather the Belgian Federation has to renew its selection or not.
