The first edition ever of the Global Champions Tour leg in London kicked off today with a 1m15 CSI2* invitational class. Under a clear heaven and nice sun it was Lara Whiteway and the 11-year-old Obelix Z (s. Ogano Sitte) who took home the victory after a finish in 23:85 seconds. Almost three seconds slower was the Swedish Catherine Silfverling Jansson and her Quidam de Revel-mare Ique. Belgium completed the stage thanks to Bruno Goyens de Heusch and his 14-year-old gray Quantum Leap (s. Rebel).
Alicia Store (Diva Z) followed in a fourth position while Electra Niarchos (Reading de Sienne) ended in place five. Of the 19 starters in the Jump-Off only nine ended without touching the wood.
