Leprevost tops in zurich

Penelope Leprevost was in a league of her own in the Longines Grand Prix in Zürich on Friday. Riding Flora de Mariposa (For Pleasure x Power Light), the world's leading lady rider was the only one in the 42-rider class to bring the mark down below 33 seconds in the jump-off and still stay clean. There were only two double clear rounds in the class, but the fastest time belonged to Leprevost at 32.45 seconds. In runner-up position followed Sergio Alvarez Moya on Carlo 273 (Contender x Cascavelle) in a time of 33.05 seconds. Third place went to Gregory Wathelet on Oh d'Eole (Kannan x Papillon Rouge), who was faster than Sergio but on the expense of a pole down.   Click here for full results.   The 1.45 speed class went to Ireland's Billy Twomey on Ardcolum Duke (Gypsy Duke x Clover Hill). 0.19 seconds separated Twomey from second placed Scott Brash on Hello Annie (Contender x For Pleasure), while Harrie Smolders was third on Enjoy Louis (Coriano x Kannan).   Click here for full results.
