It was an exciting Grand Prix at the Brussels Stephex Masters. The 1.60m class, sponsored by Rolex, had no less than 18 horse-rider combinations in the jump-off.
Just like last year the victory coloured American. Not Kent Farrington but Lucy Davis, stabled in the Netherlands, took the win. Aboard her sBs-horse Barron (by For Pleasure) she stopped the clock in 34.68 seconds.
Earlier this year the pair already won the CHIO Grand Prix in Rotterdam. Next to a nice amount of money, Davis also brought home a brand new Audi A7.
Egyptian Karim El Zoghby followed in a second place, finishing in 35.14 seconds. Italian Piergiorgio Bucci and Casallo made it third.
Last years winner, Kent Farrington, had to be satisfied with a fourth place. Under the saddle former Stephex-horse, Gazelle. Dutch Maikel van de Vleuten and VDL Groep Arera C completed the top five.
