With only one more week to go, the second week of the Rocky Mountain Classic, showjumping in Calgary concluded with a marvelous win for Marion Ostmeyer. The Edmonton-local won the CSI2* Grand Prix on Saturday aboard Roulett. EArlier in the CSI 2* Organiser John C. Anderson (Terrific) made it to the third place. Jacqueline Colborne and Zydalgo M however did beat their time finishing as runner-up, while Marion Ostmeyer and Roulett also that time proved to be invincible. In the $50,000 Bryan Anderson Memorial GP Brenda Riddel and Dutch Amouretta followed Ostmeyer in a second place. Kyle King and Quigley made it to the third spot, bringing home the $7,500 price. The top five of the GP was completed by Jennifer Whyte (Pennisula Wooper) and James Chawke (Nirvana de Terlong). John C Anderson (Terrific) rode to a 7th place. The same day the Jump Alberta mini Prix was set at a height of 1.20m. Riders battled for the points, eventually it was Beda Wachter (WH Campari) who took the win. She refered her sibling Nadine Wachter (WH Theo) to a second place. Edmonton's Mariola Slawinski and her trusted Lavos Z finished third in the class. The top five was completed by Whitney Titheridge (Carousel's Courteo) and Sutton Finch 5lissangle Lux Royale). On Sunday it was the 1.35m Modified Grand Prix that draw the attention of the jumper crowd. Vanessa Mannix and HHS Cheiro took home the win. The pair set a faster time as James Chawke (Arista) and Vryna Closson (Blitz).
