Pieter Kenis wins the opening U25 class in Mechelen

At the opening day of the International Christmas Horse Show in Mechelen it was Belgium who dominated the opening U25 class. Set at a height of 1.30m a total of 46 horse-rider combinations took the start. Fastest time was set by Pieter Kenis and the 9-year-old Gravin van HD (by Shindler de Muze). Earlier this year Kenis won the international competitions in Zandhoven and Lichtenvoorde. Thibault Philippaerts followed in a second place with the 8-year-old Cristallina v. Janshof Z (by Cadance van 't Gelutt Z). The reigning Belgium champions were followed by Jeroen De Winter and Va-Vite. Antares-rider, Julie De Pelsmaeker finished fourth while Stephex-daughter Emilie Conter completed the top five with Fragile van 't Paradijs.
