It was Richard Howley who took the honors during this afternoons qualifier at the Costa Del Sol Tour in sunny Spanish Mijas. Howley cruized to victory in the 1.45m speed class aboard the nine year old Calmond beating Danish Lars Bak Anderson and fellow Irishman Francis Connors. The Irish rider was the only one who cleared the course under 60 seconds with his Clarimo offspring. In just 58.76 secondens the pair reached crossed the finish leaving Lars Bak Andersen and the eight year old Lumbumbo (v. Ludwig von Bayern) behind him on second place. Connors and his Theoreme du Desir (v. Calvaro) also produced a fast clear round in 61.56 secondens and finished in third place. The top five was completed by Lara Whiteway aboard VDL Goep Alitta (v. Karandasj) and Felipe Guinato riding Goodtimes Van 't Lozerhof (v. Kashmir van Schuttershof) clear around the course in 62.58 seconden. Go here to see all results.
