Yves Houtackers unbeatable in Costa del Sol

It turned out to be a succesful day for Dutch showjumper Yves Houtackers. On Spanish soil he flew to victory in not only the five year old show for Young Horses, but also in the six year old show. With his five year old Dutch Bred mare Grazieuca H he claimed the victory in 42.73 seconds, which became the time to beat. In second place it was Samuel Oliva Martinez who kept te honor of his country high with his Contharga BF in 44.77 seconds. Followed by Belgiums Maxime Harmegnies with his Gremio who also finished without faults in 47.86 seconds. Houtackers then saddled up his Visconti de Beaufour for the seven year olds and again claimed victory in a very nice round with only 39.66 seconds on the clock. It was Irish Richard Howley who came closest with his Epke in 41.13 seconds, while Brittish Alex David Gill took home the third place with his Billy Fraulein in 40.13 seconds. In the six year old show it was a Spanish party with a win for Diego Perez Bilbao and his Kansas vd Withoeve who won the round in 40.93 seconds. Staying ahead of Tariere Lopez-Fanjul who came in second place with his Kattivo de Sauco in 40.97 seconds. The third place went to Santiago Nunez Riva and his Valentino de Hus Z who crossed the finishline in 41.21 seconds.   Find alle results here
