Zhang Bin rides to victory at Equuleus Beijing International

At Beijing Equuleus International Equestrian Club, the last day finish with a challenging class 140-145 quite difficult for all 20 participants to ride clear, the course is made by famous course designer Mr. Olaf Petersen. For the first time, the Chinese riders did compete in such a beautifully compact arena with one obstacle decoring the ring... a sponsored car. For the Chinese show jumpers a challenging first ... With 3 day show for these horses who have to jump minimum 140cm, finally , only Chinese rider zhang Bin riding Kadans Carlazzo and Wopa Xiakejia riding con air finish clear in the first round with 71.14 sec onds and 70.37seconds. Daniel Zhao zhiwen and his Belgian jumper fancy face rank 3rd place with 1 rail down in 68.44 seconds. The pair was  followed by young rider Meng Quanwei riding Chronos. Meng Quanwei finished in a fast time but also jumped one rail down. The Chinese open in Beijing offered all Chinese riders to compete. Apart for the Championships set at a height of 1.40/1.45m also the junior riders and 0.90 - 1.00m riders took the start the past three days. During the junior competiton the jumps measured up to a maximum of 0.90m. Chinese junior Gong Jingxi on D.H speeded to victory. Wu Jingsu and Xiao Yueliang, from the Yue hewan club, placed as runner-up.
