Reigning Olympic champion, Ben Maher has decided to compete with the 11-year-old mare Dallas Vegas Batilly (Cap Kennedy, breeder: Jean-Claude Viollet) this week in Paris. Maher had initially planned to compete with the 10-year-old stallion Point Break (Action-Breaker, breeder: Nya Appelvikens Ridskola).

Ben will now ride Charlotte Rossetter, Pamela Wright and his own Dallas Vegas Batilly. The change from Point Break is down to form post-travel."

After the first horse inspection on 31 July, the jumping competition gets underway on 1 August with the team qualifier.
