Reactions after the World Cup Finals win of Guerdat

Steve Guerdat repeated his World Cup victory of one year ago by claiming the Longines FEI World Cup Finals trophy for the second time in a row on Monday, March 28th, 2016 in Gothenburg, Sweden. After his victory we had a little chat with the reigning World Cup Champion and the other competitors. “It’s really special to win. I was ready for another win and gave everything I could. Nevertheless I wasn't really thinkinh I would stand a chance of winning the title (cup) again," Guerdat said. "I didn’t want to put too much pressure on my horse because I wasn’t sure how he was going to react at a championship. But today I really felt that he was fighting with me. It felt that he was really with me and that gives you confidence on the course.” “I didn’t ride very good in the Final last year, and that stays somewhat in your head always and is upsetting every time you see the video or images again. So that was my goal today, to ride better than last year,” Guerdat continued.
