Great Meadow International Approved to Hold First Ever U.S. FEI Nations Cup Eventing Competition

The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) is pleased to announce that Great Meadow in The Plains, Va. has been approved to hold the U.S. leg of the 2016 FEI Nations Cup Eventing Series. The prestigious CICO3* competition has been approved to run July 8-10, 2016. This will be the first time an FEI Nations Cup Eventing competition will be hosted by the U.S. Great Meadow Foundation owns and operates the picturesque venue, which annually hosts the Virginia Gold Cup steeplechase races. Eventing competition was added to the Great Meadow calendar in 2014 when it hosted the World Equestrian Games Preparation Event for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team. Its inaugural CIC3* was held in June 2015 as part of the Pan American Games Preparation Event.
