Yesterday Alice Naber-Lozeman has won the national eventing title at the three-star international eventing in Boekelo, the Netherlands. Aboard ACSI Peter Parker (by I'm Supposin) Alice finished in the 19th place in the overall ranking, good for her third titel in a row. Earlier the pair competed at the European Championships in Blair. Unfortunately they couldn't count their luck, following their decision to compete in this weekends Dutch Championships. The Eventing Nations Cup in Boekelo was won by Ireland. Home-country, the Netherlands, didn't battle for the titel. Tim Lips and Merel Blom's horse Chiccolino, both forfaited after getting sick. Ireland won their first Nations Cup since 2003. The United States of America followed as runner-up with 197 points. New Zealand finished third with 198.90 seconds. Great-Britain took home the fifth place. However the final victory of the FEI Nations Cup ranking colours British. England was the only country competing in the seven Nations Cup competitions throughout the year. Germany followed in second.
