The World Championships for 6 and 7 year old eventing horses took place this weekend Lion d'angers, France. Today the conditions were perfect for the Show Jumping phase and the crowd was treated to some top sport. German rider Michael Jung was in the lead yesterday after the cross country phase with the 6 year old 'Star Connection'. He posted a superb clear to win the Gold. Christopher Burton (AUS) took the silver with 'Dutch Man Retto', while Piggy French took the bronze aboard 'Cooley Dream Extreme'. Full Results   image In the 7 year old category, it was home rider Thomas Carlile who took the gold aboard 'Tenareze' after scoring a magnificent clear round today. The same pair took gold last year in the 6 year old category. Two British riders took second and third place respectively. Tom McEwen took the silver with 'Toledo de Kerser', while Laura Collett took the bronze with 'Pamero 4'. Full Results
