Ollie Townend powers to lead in Pau

The CCI4* competition in Pau kicked-off with two dressage days. It is now Oliver Townend who powered to the lead aboard his Cillnabradden Evo with a total of 22.7 penalties. Last august the combination finished second in Blair Castle. For Great Brittain and in  strong second place is Rosalind Canter aboard Zenshera with whom she will start the cross country tomorrow with a total of 24.1 penalties. Germany's Andreas Ostholt follows in third place with Corvette 31 with a total of 25 penalties. Completing the top five for now we find in fourth place New-Zealand's Tim Price with Ascona M and 25.3 penalties, just ahead of France's Thibault Fournier with Siniani de Lathus with 25.5 penalties.   Results
