Le Pin National Stud, one of the greatest equestrian spots in Normandy, will host 2 of the 3 Eventing competitions of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games ™ 2014 in Normandy. Two rounds of the "equestrian triathlon" will be held at “Le Pin”: the dressage test on 28 and 29 August right below the famous castle, and on 30 August for the spectacular cross country test on a new course (6.7 kilometers long) specially designed for the Games. The crowd will get discover this track on 28 and 29 August by presenting their tickets for the Eventing’s dressage or cross country competitions at the following times: Thursday, August 28th from 2.30pm to 7.30pm, for all people with a ticket to the Eventing’s Dressage Dressage on August 28th Thursday, August 28th from 5pm to 7.30pm, for all people with a ticket for the Eventing’s Cross on August 30th Friday, August 29th from 2.30pm to 5.30pm, for all people with a ticket to Eventing’s dressage on August 29th The cross country course, which is 6725 meters long, was opened in July 2013 after several months of work. The course has been designed to ensure the best visibility for both the spectators and the TV viewers, but also to limit its environmental impact.
