On Saturday, June 21st, we kick off the first of three FOAL AUCTION 111 auctions of the year. And once again, we’re doing it with an exceptional collection of foals that will appeal to every breeder, sport stable, and enthusiast!
For over 15 years, Foal Auction 111 has been carefully selecting and auctioning high-quality foals with passion and dedication. This year, the selection committee—consisting of Stijn Vandesteene and Tim van Tricht—has once again put together an impressive group. Notably, no fewer than 23 foals were conceived and carried naturally, reflecting the growing demand for traditionally bred foals.
In total, 34 lots will be offered: 32 foals and 2 exclusive embryos. We are pleased to highlight a few of the auction’s standouts:
The Full Brother or Sister of Extreme 111 Z!
This very exclusive embryo gives you the chance to acquire the full sibling of one of the standout performers in the recent Belgian stallion competitions. The El Barone 111 Z son, out of a Bamako de Muze dam, turned heads in every round with his powerful jumping and even clinched several wins in this highly regarded series. Breeders took notice—Extreme 111 Z has been in high demand both locally and internationally. And in this collection, you'll also find two striking foals by this rising star from Stud 111!
Introducing Jamiroquai vd XXLLNT Farm a standout colt by the stallion sensation J-Nius V.V. Z. This isn’t just any foal—he hails from an exceptionally strong dam line. His granddam produced no fewer than four blacktype performers, two of whom competed at the top 1.60m level! He’s got the looks and the moves. In short, everything you need to turn heads at stallion approvals in a few years!
Every now and then, a foal comes along that immediately grabs your attention—and Electric Z is one of them.
This imposing son of El Barone 111 Z impresses from the outset with his athletic movement and striking presence. He comes from one of VDL’s strongest mare lines. His half-brother, For Side VDL, sold for a premium at the WEF Sport Horse Auction, where he promptly won the 5-year-old class. His great-granddam? None other than Aziemieka, the Silvano daughter who also produced VDL Glennridge and boasts a long list of top-level offspring. Stallion owners and sport stables, take note—this is a future star for both the licensing ring and the sport arena!
