The third class of the day at the CSI3* in Riyadh brought plenty of pace and pressure, as riders faced a 1.30m Table A Special Two Phases as 3* opener. With 58 combinations stepping into the ring, the competition proved both technical and fiercely competitive from the very start.
It was Chad Fellows from Great Britain who stole the show. Riding NPS Klooney (NPS Super Nova), Fellows delivered a flawless double-clear in 34.41 seconds, securing a convincing victory.
Local talent shone as well, with Meshal Alqahtani (KSA) taking second place on Menke (Cohinoor VDL) after a clear round in 35.37 seconds. Close behind, fellow Saudi rider Faisal Bakasri finished third with Jamir (Vittorio) in 35.48 seconds, narrowly edging out Abdullah Alsharbatly, who crossed the finish line on Valentino (Diamantino) in 35.49 seconds.
Rounding out the top five was Hussain Mohamed Dadalla of Bahrain, completing a clear round in 35.83 seconds aboard Elite (Pessoa VDL).
