The FEI Dressage World Cup Grand Prix in Amsterdam delivered a leaderboard packed with big names and high scores on Friday morning. In the World Cup test, the deciding factors were the quality of the finishing touches and the degree of technical difficulty, with the top three clearly pulling away from the rest of the field.
Victory went to Charlotte Fry, who guided Glamourdale (Lord Leatherdale) to the highest total score of 80.000%. The British pair produced a strong, consistently judged test, securing the win by just under one percentage point.
Isabell Werth claimed second place with Wendy de Fontaine (Sezuan) on 79.131%, keeping the pressure on but ultimately falling just short of challenging Fry for the top spot.
Third place also went to Great Britain, with Becky Moody and Jagerbomb (Dante Weltino OLD) posting 77.239% to convincingly take their place on the podium.
