After nearly two years together, French rider Inès Joly and Crack d’Aiguilly (Comme Il Faut x Nabab de Rêve) are parting ways. The gelding will continue his career in the United States following a successful spell on the international showjumping circuit.

Crack d’Aiguilly has previously competed under several riders, including his breeder Olivier Perreau, Julien Anquetin and Simon Delestre. With Delestre, the son of Comme Il Faut achieved several notable results at 1.55m level, establishing himself as a competitive partner at the higher levels of the sport.

His partnership with Joly also brought a series of strong performances on the international stage. The pair finished third in a 1.50m class at the CSI3* in Lier in September 2025, before securing fourth place over the same height at a CSI5* in Doha. In January 2026, they added another notable result with fifth place in the 1.55m Grand Prix at the CSI4* in Doha.

Joly shared an emotional farewell on social media, reflecting on the special bond she had developed with Crack d’Aiguilly both in and out of the arena. The French rider wished his new owners and future rider every success, acknowledging how difficult it was to say goodbye after their time together.

Crack d’Aiguilly now begins a new chapter in the United States, bringing his partnership with Joly to a close after a successful period at international level.
