The decision to relocate the 2026 GC Playoffs follows logistical challenges surrounding the event in Riyadh. To ensure that the season finale can take place at the highest level, the organization chose Verona after a thorough evaluation. Thanks to the swift response and support of partner Fieracavalli, the event has found a new home on short notice. In doing so, Global Champions underscores its commitment to fans, riders, team owners, and partners.

Statements from the organization

Jan Tops (Founder and President of LGCT & GCL): "We remain fully committed to top-level sport and to our exceptional GC Playoffs event. After exploring all options, we are now greatly looking forward to hosting a successful and unforgettable edition in Verona in a few weeks' time."

Federico Bricolo (President of Veronafiere): "We are proud that Global Champions has chosen Veronafiere as the venue for this prestigious finale. The fact that a leading organization approaches us on such short notice confirms the quality and experience that Fieracavalli has built up over its 128 editions. Just two weeks after our own exhibition, the stars of Global Champions will compete in the same arena that recently hosted the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™. We are pulling out all the stops to offer horses, riders, and visitors the very best facilities in our historic UNESCO city."
