The final class of the week in Riyadh brought the spotlight to the CSI3* Big Tour Grand Prix, a 1.50m challenge in which 26 riders faced a demanding course set under a Table A with separate jump-off. As the last highlight of the show, the pressure was high and every rider knew that only a flawless round would earn a place in the decisive barrage.
Germany’s David Will delivered a masterclass in the jump-off, securing the Grand Prix victory with Xixo Borgia (Big Star). The pair produced two clear rounds and stopped the clock in a lightning-fast 35.05 seconds, a time no one else managed to match. His precision and pace set an early benchmark that proved untouchable.
The home nation followed closely behind. Ramzy Al Duhami took the runner-up spot with Addressee (Messenger), also jumping double clear in 35.72 seconds and keeping the pressure on until the very end. Khaled Almobty completed the podium for Saudi Arabia, guiding Qaparezzo-A (Arezzo VDL) to another double clear in 36.35 seconds.
Meshari Alharbi continued the strong Saudi performance with Lorenzo ES (Comme Il Faut), finishing fourth after a clear jump-off in 40.27 seconds. Saad Alajmi closed the top five aboard Nsi Nar (Van Gogh), adding penalties in the second round and finishing in 54.37 seconds.
