Ireland Reigned the day in Italy's Gorla Minore. Directly on tim Ireland's Emily Turkington jumped to victory in the 1.50m main class aboard Cornet (Cornet's Prinz x Clarimo).
Together with the Olympic gelding Cornet (Cornet’s Prinz x Clara Mia Z), Irish rider Emily Turkington claimed victory in the CSI4 main class on Italian soil!
"I'm really happy with how the class went," Turkington said. "The course was spot on, very well designed and I had a feeling I Could win from the start. My horse jumped birlliantly and has been in great shape for the past months!"
Barbara Schnieper finished second with Toronto Raptor (Totilas x Nikita B), ahead of Piergiorgio Bucci. Bucci completed the podium aboard the twelve-year-old Emerald son, Emeralds Dream.*
Just off the podium, Anthony Bourquard raced to fourth place with Ecuador de la Cense (Kannan), while Pia Reich rounded out the top five riding Djazz d'Avror (Quarz de Talma).
