The international show jumping world is mourning the loss of Contento 23, who passed away suddenly last week on Thursday, September 3, at the CSIO4* event in Avenches, Switzerland. The 15-year-old Oldenburg stallion (Contendros x Nobel's Cento), ridden by Italian athlete Aurora Guaragno, suffered a fatal medical emergency in his stable.
