The Olympic horse All Inclusive NRW (by Arpeggio) has passed away at the age of 26. The bay gelding competed at the highest level during his career with Ludger Beerbaum and Denis Lynch. His passing was announced by his owner, Flaminia Schatzmann, on her social media.
“Today we said goodbye to a wonderful horse, All Inclusive NRW, who gave us so many unforgettable moments during his sporting career. At 26 years old, he fully enjoyed life and cherished his freedom in the pasture until his last breath. His strength and elegance in competition always amazed us. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you, dear friend, for the adventures we shared and the precious memories. We will never forget you,” she wrote.
During his active career, the gelding by Arpeggio, out of a Phantom dam, was especially successful with Ludger Beerbaum and Irish rider Denis Lynch. The highlight of his career came early on: at just nine years old, he competed with Beerbaum at the 2008 Olympic Games, where he finished sixth individually. In the same year, the pair placed fourth at the World Cup Final in Gothenburg. Together, they also won the Grand Prix of Zurich.
After the 2009 World Cup in Bordeaux, All Inclusive NRW went to Denis Lynch, with whom he achieved numerous placings in the Global Champions Tour and at major shows such as Aachen. In 2014, the two had their last appearance together in Aachen. Since then, he had enjoyed his retirement at Hofgut Kaltenherberge.
