From serious accident to world title: Eoin Brennan tells the remarkable journey to the World Championship

“He suffered a neurological issue after an accident as a three-year-old, but it never held him back,” said an emotional Eoin Brennan about his horse Augustus Z. On Sunday, the Irish rider was crowned World Champion in Lanaken in the 7-Year-Old Final. On a world-class podium, young Belgian Niels van Rossem claimed silver with Speedy van Klapscheut, while Frenchman Thibault Thevenon secured bronze with Ici et la Courcelle.
