It was Mexico’s own Eugenio Garza Perez who rose to the occasion, sending the home crowd into raptures with a sensational jump-off round aboard Chalouries PS (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet). Stopping the clock in 36.55 seconds, his time proved unbeatable despite a stacked field of world-class challengers chasing him down to the very last rider.

“It is just such an incredible feeling to win here at one of the best shows in the world with the crowd behind you. You can feel them pushing you every step of the way. Gracias Mexico!”

Designed by Anderson Lima, the course made full use of the expansive grass arena, inviting riders to attack while demanding precision at every turn. His flowing yet testing track struck the perfect balance - rewarding bravery and rhythm while ensuring the smallest margins could define the outcome.

Clear rounds came thick and fast in the opening phase, underlining the extraordinary depth of talent in the field. The home crowd found their voice early, erupting as Eugenio Garza Perez and Nicolas Pizarro delivered faultless performances, both beating the clock and leaving every rail intact to secure their places in the jump-off.

There was heartbreak too. Clara Pezzoli and Jappeloup produced a beautifully judged round 1, only to pick up a single time fault that denied them a place in the decider. Sophie Hinners and Lommers followed with another foot-perfect performance, but the clock proved unforgiving once again, with a single time penalty at the crucial moment ending their hopes.

With 14 riders advancing, the jump-off promised fireworks - and it delivered. One by one, some of the fastest combinations in the sport stepped into the arena, pushing the pace to its limits. Victor Bettendorf and Max Kühner threw everything at the track, but none could match the pace set by Garza Perez, whose round combined accuracy, control and outright speed.
