The CSI4* competition in Stockholm at the Sweden International Horse Show has just concluded with an extremely thrilling Grand Prix. Seven riders managed to guide their horses to a clear over the fences in the first round, securing a place in the jump-off.
The fastest time was set by Gilles Thomas, who was fourth to go in the jump-off. He relied on his partnership with Chuck Marienshof Z (Colestus) to conclude the week in Sweden with a victory. Marlon Modolo Zanotelli ultimately jumped onto the second spot on the podium, doing so with his trusted Charly Heart (Cornet Obolensky) for Brazil.
Olivier Philippaerts tried to match Thomas’s time but came nowhere close aboard H&M Miro (Diamant de Semilly) and had to settle for third place. His brother, Nicola Philippaerts, incurred a jumping fault with Moya van den Bisschop (Darco) and ended the week in fifth place, just behind Britain’s Ben Maher and Nighthawk (Stakkato Gold).
