With his horse Amidam Tivoli Z (Mourad Baschko), Majid Djaidi jumped clear through both phases and posted the winning time of 27.01 seconds. Just fractions behind came the Netherlands’ Sanne Thijssen, who secured second place with Lolandria Z (Lux Z) in 27.37 seconds. Third place went to Italy’s Roberto Turchetto, who also delivered a faultless round with Heidelberg (Mylord Carthago HN) in 27.62 seconds.

The battle for fourth and fifth was equally close: Spain’s Armando Trapote guided Gin Tonic van het Gerendal Z (George Z) to 27.63 seconds, while Adam Grzegorzewski of Poland completed the top five aboard Caramoon Red Z (Exciting) in 27.67 seconds.

With just six-tenths separating the top five combinations, this was one of the most exciting classes of the day, with the victory decided by the finest of margins.
