The IJRC has announced the FEI Athelete Representative voting is open. "The Athlete Representative is the voice of Jumping athletes within the FEI, bringing riders’ views into the internal decision making process. The role carries a seat on both the FEI Jumping Committee and the FEI Athletes Committee."
As Rodrigo Pessoa’s current term as FEI Jumping Athlete Representative comes to an end, two candidates are standing for election for the 2026/2030 term.
The IJRC would like to thank its Board Member Rodrigo Pessoa for his commitment and valuable work as FEI Jumping Athlete Representative.
CANDIDATES:
Rodrigo Pessoa (Brazil)
Current FEI Jumping Athlete Representative and candidate for re-election. An Olympic and World champion and IJRC Board Member, he combines top level sporting experience with direct knowledge of athlete representation and FEI governance.

Abdulla Al Marri (United Arab Emirates)
An international Jumping athlete who has competed at major events, including the Olympic and Asian Games. He won individual and team bronze medals at the 2022 Asian Games and represented the UAE at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

WHO CAN VOTE?
Jumping athletes eligible to vote:
- are at least 18 years old on the day of voting;
- represented their country either individually or as part of a team competition at the Olympic Games or Paralympic Games or Continental Games or World Championships for Seniors or Continental Championships for Seniors in any of the eight (8) years preceding the date of the elections.
