Born in Germany, the son of the legendary Stakkato showed exceptional talent from an early age. By the age of seven, he was already competing at the 1.40m level, and a brilliant sporting career seemed to be on the horizon. However, an injury cut those ambitions short, forcing Stakkatol to retire early from competition.

As a breeding stallion, Paul Schockemöhle’s protégé grew into a true "Stempelhengst" (foundation sire). His offspring consistently proved his quality at the highest level of the sport. Horses such as Stawita, Equine America Spacecake, and Stakkatan have made significant international impacts in the 1.60m circuit.

A Lasting Legacy in France

For the past five years, Stakkatol was stationed in Saint-Lô, France, where he played a key role in elevating French breeding. His influence remains visible through numerous successful descendants performing on the world stage.

Our deepest condolences go out to everyone involved in Stakkatol's life and career.
