Earlier, former World Cup champion Charlotte Dujardin decided not to compete in the FEI World Cup Final in Fort Worth. Now, the 2017 champion, McLain Ward, has also announced he will not be appearing at the start in Texas.
McLain is currently recovering from a minor injury and has therefore decided to withdraw from participation in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final. Ward won the final in 2017 with the Belgian mare, HH Azur. American rider Lillie Keenan will take McLain's place at the start with her horse, Kick On.
