The 1m50 class in Verona was a fast and clear round with 42 combinations at the start. Jennifer Hochstaedter rode Moeboetoe v/d Roshoeve (Der Senaat) to an impressive clear round in 60.90 seconds, good for the victory and 7,500 euros in prize money.
Britain's Matthew Sampson followed closely behind with Latte Macchiato (Pacino) in 61.93 seconds, while Switzerland's Jane Richard took third place with Aequitus vh Bergerhof Z (Andiamo Z) in 63.16 seconds.
Just off the podium, Simon Delestre and Cayman Jolly Jumper (Hickstead) remained faultless in 63.70 seconds, narrowly beating the Belgian contribution.
That Belgian contribution came in the form of Olivier Philippaerts, who rode his mare H&M Qualithina van't Ruytershof (Mosito van het Hellehof) to a clear round in 63.85 seconds, good for fifth place.
